Why Modern Manners? Modern Manners graduates are confident, poised, and productive members of society with a competitive edge, both socially and in business. Modern Manners etiquette programs are informative, entertaining, and fun! Students learn the importance of first impressions, eye contact, speaking clearly, introductions, proper handshakes, social and table etiquette. Discussion, role-play exercises and age-appropriate games reinforce the subject matter. Our role-play exercises and games are very popular. Students portray everyday social encounters personally experiencing the benefits of manners and civility. Mrs. Cline believes that children are more likely to absorb the lesson when they are placed in a positive environment and interact with their peers, eliminating the parent/child frustration that so often occurs at home.
